The Middle East Conflict and Supply Chain Updates at Cleanroomshop

In light of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and the impact on global fuel markets and transit routes, we want to reassure our customers that we are working extremely hard to maintain continuity of supply. 

The team at Cleanroomshop are working closely with all of our manufacturing partners and logistics providers to actively manage product availability and transportation, with the aim of minimising any potential stock shortages. Where challenges do arise, we're committed to keeping our customers fully informed and providing clear, timely updates. 

However, the continued fuel crisis and significant disruption across the global transit network have led to substantial and sustained cost increases from our manufacturers and logistics partners. Despite our best efforts, these ongoing increases can no longer be fully absorbed into our existing cost base. 

As a result, from 1st May 2026, we have no option by to implement a temporary 5% surcharge on all orders. 

This decision has not been taken lightly. We recognise the impact this may have on our customers, but the surcharge is necessary to ensure we can continue to provide a reliable, high-quality service during this period of exceptional volatility. 

We will keep this position under close review and will remove the surcharge as soon as transportation and supply chain costs return to more normal levels.
